With the help of the finest chocolate as a delicious means of communication, the dream couple Ann-Kathrin Kramer and Harald Krassnitzer, who harmonize both privately and professionally, take to the stage of the Prinzregententheater in "Chocolat" .

Audience favorite Ann-Kathrin Kramer takes on the role of the charming Vianne, who opens her pâtisserie in the church square of the French village of Tannes, in the theater version of the successful film starring Juliette Binoche. Harald Krassnitzer, popular not only as the Viennese Tatort detective on both sides of the Danube, embodies her grumpy and angry adversary as the village priest Reynaud. The clergyman sees the unmarried mother as the incarnation of evil and launches a campaign against Vianne and her sweet creations.

The quartet "Les Manouches Du Tannes" provides an atmospheric musical backdrop as the traveling folk. In this audience-oriented condensation of text and music, director Martin Mühleis creates an irresistible appeal against bigotry and xenophobia and calls for tolerance, openness and enjoyment.
