The sing-along event

At this concert, the audience sings through the great hits of pop history in several voices (!): from classics such as "Stand by me" or "Hey Jude" to the latest catchy tunes.

Jan-Christof Scheibe - singer, composer and, as the founder of the Heaven Can Wait Choir, probably one of Hamburg's most dazzling choir directors - invites you to join him for a choral experience.

First and foremost, it's about the pure joy of singing: Belting out the greatest hits together. But the best thing is when you can sing the songs in several voices as part of a choir. That's why "musical training" is also part of the program. Scheibe trains his audience's voices, and in the end - regardless of whether you can read music or not - you can even sing polyphonic choral songs. Supported by his rousing band, he teases undreamt-of potential out of his singers.

WHO CAN TAKE PART?

Anyone who likes to sing. No previous or even musical knowledge is required. The audience experiences his voice in a large context that lets many favorite songs resound in a new way - as a wonderful group karaoke at "Choir to Go".
