And in the evening, the whole world goes to bed dissatisfied because there are so many horrible things, because there are so many fools, and because there are so many people who claim to know how to do it. The smartasses of this world always know where the hammer hangs and what is effective. He usually doesn't know where his hammer is, let alone the nail that goes with it. That really doesn't matter. But there are things out there that do matter. And he talks about them. At best, with a mixture of subtlety and malice. And when it becomes unbearable, the linguistic club has to be used. He likes to interfere in what is happening. When someone writes: "What Christian Springer understands by cabaret goes miles beyond the spoken word. Because he is right in the middle of the action himself and is regarded as the most committed German cabaret artist." Then he's happy to read that. But no one has ever written it like that before? No matter? Doesn't matter?
He started his stage career as a young singer in the children's choir of the Munich Opera. Since then, he has known that he will have an enormous advantage over most people on this earth. Because they don't have an opera or a choir. Mostly not at all. And far too often that doesn't matter. It doesn't. Not to him. That's also what the current program is about.
