Christmas is a time for stories. And for many people in the West, the stories read aloud by Jan Malte Andresen have long been a part of the tradition.

This magic will return to the stage in 2026 as well.

With “Christmas On Air – The Christmas Show,” the well-known radio and TV host is embarking on a small but delightful tour of the West—and bringing along what makes his readings so special: a wide range of stories, a keen sense of tone and atmosphere—and, of course, plenty of Christmas spirit.

Look forward to Christmas stories and poems by well-known authors: sometimes cheerful, sometimes deeply moving, sometimes sure to make you laugh out loud—but always contemplative and festive.

“Christmas On Air – The ChristmasShow” combines this special atmosphere with an energetic sing-along concert. Jan Malte reads—the audience sings.

The evening will be accompanied by the live bandGoodbeats, who will delight the audience with classics like“Silent Night”and“Jingle Bells”as well as modern Christmas hits like“Last Christmas”and“All I Want for Christmas Is You.” The audience is expressly invited to sing along—loudly, emotionally, and together.
