Das Geld liegt auf der Fensterbank, Marie - Glorreich versieben
In the organizer's words:
Everything’s even better in this show: even more beautiful songs and even more zany dialogues, more thought-provoking topics, and even more surprising punchlines! “110 percent!” says Friedolin! “Well, of course!” says Wiebke. But that 110 percent thing also applies, of course, to the kids and the guinea pigs, the climate-friendly diet, and the chalk paint they want to use to paint the stairs. Plus, the days through Week 48 are basically already planned out—and let’s not forget: mindfulness and self-love. Is that even possible? No, but that’s exactly why they’re trying.
When this duo takes the stage, it’s always with the lofty goal of failing spectacularly. Emphasis on spectacularly! And they’re not alone in that. Spectacular failure is, after all, humanity’s signature evolutionary move. We’re so good at everything that we’ve accidentally destroyed our home planet in the process. Oops.
With their own blend of cabaret-style banter, wit, linguistic acrobatics, improvisation, and music, Das Geld liegt auf der Fensterbank, Marie once again creates the total cabaret masterpiece that made their name—and a pretty long one at that. If you’ve never seen these two live, or don’t know them from *Die Anstalt* or their SWR3 comedy show, now’s your chance—don’t blow it again!
