Jazz Konnex. At the heart of this concert is the idea of bringing together jazz musicians from different major cities, making their individual biographies and influences from their local scenes audible and creating a common, homogeneous sound. Alex Hitchcock is a London-born saxophonist, composer, arranger and producer who lives in New York. After studying jazz in Mannheim and Amsterdam, Daniel Nagel moved to New York in 2022 to study at the City College of New York in Harlem with the renowned jazz bassist David Wong. After numerous international concerts, he now lives in Berlin. Max Stadtfeld, who lives in Leipzig, is an outstanding drummer and improviser.
