CIRCULAR REPUBLIC FESTIVAL

Extraction of raw materials causes 90% of biodiversity loss and is responsible for 50% of all greenhouse gas emissions (UNEP). These are shocking figures that once again highlight the serious consequences that our current economic system is having on our planet and our society.

But there is good news: Most experts*, politicians* and companies are aware of this status quo and even see a promising way out - Circular Economy.

On November 15-18, 2023, the CIRCULAR REPUBLIC FESTIVAL, a leading circular economy event, will bring together visionaries, industry experts, and changemakers to explore innovative solutions and drive the transition to a circular economy.

On Nov. 16 and 17, 2023, the CIRCULAR REPUBLIC FESTIVAL at Munich Urban Colab will offer a lot of inspiration and innovation:

• Inspiring speakers who are leading the way in circular innovation, such as Carlos Alvarez Pereira (Vice President, The Club of Rome), Janez Potocnik (Co-Chair, United Nations International Resource Panel), Stephen Jamieson (Global Head of Circular Economy Solutions at SAP), Dr. Anja Eisenreich (Project Manager Circular Economy, BSH Home Appliances Group), Martijn Lopes Cardozo (CEO, Circle Economy Foundation), Lubomila Jordanove (Co-Founder, Planet A).
• Interactive Workshops: Dive deep into the practical application of circular economy principles. Here you can get active yourself and explore circular design, sustainable business models and many other topics.
• Innovative solutions: Discover circular solutions from leading startups like Resourcify, BAVERTIS and STABL. Watch their pitches at the startup awards and network for new business opportunities. You can also get inspired by creative new ideas emerging from the ongoing Circular Hackfest in the MakerSpace.
