Naples, this characterful city in southern Italy, vibrant, fast-paced and with a unique flair. Graffiti is omnipresent; everywhere. Only a few spaces are spared from it. To outsiders, they all seem equally "graffitied", but a closer look quickly reveals that different actors are active here. Who are these people and what drives them? What happens under their fingers and why?

Markus Lenz portrays people who are not actually interested in cameras, who neither seek nor prefer them. They want to be unrecognized, at least as people; they only want to show their pictures. But Markus Lenz succeeds in doing just that, he lets them all have their say; and that is precisely the strength of the film. They talk about their motivations, their aspirations, and why they have chosen walls, trains, and the city as a whole as their place of expression. Young people who specialize in painting trains and cover the mass transit system with their names, and are themselves friends with those who clean the trains again. A young artist who comments on the city with graphics, posters and paintings, ephemeral works that in their aesthetics could also be found in galleries, but are consistently presented outside the white cube. And a representative of the ultras of the SSC Naples soccer club. According to his own statement, he has never talked to anyone about what it means for him to be an Ultra, with the SSC in his heart, and with a group name and 'logo' that can be seen all over the city.
