A high-impact dialogue and advocacy event that will bring together youth climate leaders, negotiators, and allies to spotlight youth-led agendas, priorities, and solutions in the context of international climate policy. Taking place during the 62nd session of the Subsidiary Bodies (SB62) of the UNFCCC, this event will serve as a strategic space for young people from across the globe-especially from climate-vulnerable and underrepresented communities-to present their demands, share policy briefs, and amplify grassroots actions on key negotiation tracks such as Loss and Damage, Climate Finance, Adaptation, Capacity Building, and Intergenerational Equity. Through a combination of storytelling, panel discussions, and interactive dialogue, the session will foster meaningful youth engagement with negotiators and decision-makers, reinforcing the urgency of including youth perspectives in shaping just and inclusive climate outcomes.

Our Earth, our Stories: Youth Narratives for Climate Action

A storytelling session that will take place on the sidelines of SB62, amplifying the lived experiences, resilience, and innovative solutions of young people at the frontlines of the climate crisis. This event provides a safe and inclusive platform for youth from diverse backgrounds-especially those from Indigenous, marginalized, and climate-vulnerable communities-to share powerful personal narratives that reflect the interconnectedness of climate change, social justice, and intergenerational equity. Through spoken word, short stories, visual media, and lived testimonies, the session will explore themes such as climate-induced displacement, environmental activism, eco-entrepreneurship, adaptation struggles, and community-led innovations. By humanizing data and policy with emotion and experience, the session aims to influence negotiators and stakeholders at SB62 to recognize youth not just as beneficiaries, but as rightsholders, storytellers, and solution-builders in the global climate movement.

Health and Climate Change Reception:

Understanding the Nexus and Exploring Opportunities for Action

It will also provide a networking opportunity over drinks and snacks between experts and advocates across climate change, global health, and public health. We welcome experts and input on various topics, including heat stress, food and water security, infectious diseases, and air pollution.

14.00 - 15.00 | The Climate Mobility Community Action Network (CMACN)

Climate Mobility: What is it and the Role of Storytelling

The focus of this event is to highlight the importance of storytelling when it comes to educating communities and individuals on climate mobility. This event will look at climate mobility storytelling from three different angles: loss & damage, climate adaptation, and climate finance. The point of this event will be to look at climate mobility storytelling and how it can be applied to all their topics in order for participants to learn and reflect. Participants will be split up into three different groups throughout the session to learn how to apply this topic to other climate topics. Participants will need to answer a set of questions when put into groups on climate mobility storytelling. A short presentation on climate mobility will happen in the beginning of the event and outline what storytelling is. Afterwards there will be a discussion about the activity and objectives of it. The end of the event will be a reflection session on key takeaways from the different groups, main findings, and what does climate mobility and storytelling mean.
