COBRA CRUSH FESTIVAL
A call for bands becomes a festival!
On September 18 & 19, we celebrate the first edition of the Cobra Crush Festival - with local acts, student bands and two days full of live music between pop, indie, rock and punk.

Vergissmeinnicht stands for an honest, atmospheric sound between German pop and alternative indie. Behind the trio from the Ruhr area are long-time friends who have opened a new musical chapter together in 2024.
With a mixture of guitar, keys, bass and electronic beats, they create versatile songs that are catchy, emotional and edgy at the same time. Or, as the band themselves say: "A little bit of everything that feels good."
Live, Vergissmeinnicht create intense moments full of energy, emotion and lightness.
TADDAY combines modern pop with influences from jazz, soul and funk. Her songs are emotional, versatile and full of dynamics - sometimes light and playful, sometimes profound and moving.
The Cologne-based singer and songwriter has lived for music since her childhood. Influenced by choirs, vocal pedagogy and stages such as the renowned Popkurs Hamburg, she developed her very own style. With her expressive voice and authentic stage presence, TADDAY creates concert experiences that are moving and memorable.

STRESS from Cologne move between indie and punk and provide the soundtrack for the urban chaos of our time. With sharp-witted lyrics, driving melodies and lots of energy, they talk about euphoria and panic, resistance and change.
Since their debut album "Im Garten der Sinne" and winning the music contest "Euer Song für Köln", the five musicians have made a name for themselves. STRESS unleash their full power, especially live - loud, direct and rousing.
Betriebsbedingte Kündigung from Solingen have stood for honest, German-language punk rock with loud guitars, a clear attitude and lots of energy for seven years.
Known for their rousing live shows and punky cover versions, the band has also been increasingly focusing on their own songs since 2025. With a female singer at their side, fresh ideas and lyrics ranging from social criticism to humor, they deliver exactly what punk rock is all about: loud, direct and absolutely rousing.
BARRIKADEN stand for an intense mix of guitar thunderstorms, synth pads and deep bass. Their music is a shelter for all those who are searching for their own path between insecurity, pressure and self-doubt.
With a powerful sound and a clear attitude, they create an anti-self-optimization protective wall - between fuck-up and acceptance, between doubt and the desire for hope.
Maulhaelden from Essen have stood for German-language rock with catchy melodies, honest lyrics and a clear attitude for over 20 years. Their songs combine everyday topics with sing-along choruses and lots of energy.
The band has already played on numerous stages - from festivals such as Essen Original to unusual venues such as a freight elevator or a prison. Airplays on Radio Essen and WDR 2 as well as joint shows with Pele Caster, among others, underline their reach.
Maulhaelden will celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2026 - loud, direct and full of joy.

Get your early bird tickets now at a reduced price - available throughout June. The regular ticket price will apply from July.
As a special extra, there is also a festival ticket for both evenings, with which you can experience the entire Cobra Crush Festival.
