Codefendants - Europe 2026

Codefendants are a genre-bending punk collective that blends alternative, hip-hop, and rock to create a sound they call “Crime Wave.” The band consists of Fat Mike (NOFX), Julio “Ceschi” Ramos, and Sam King (Get Dead), and combines raw punk aggression with sharp lyrics, dark humor, and street credibility.

The Codefendants—three dangerous bastards with criminal records and musical ambitions—shatter the window of an industry built on lip-syncing and safe bets like a Molotov cocktail. Meet your suspects: Sam King, a punk rock bon vivant with ink-stained fists and scars, and Julio “Ceschi” Ramos, a poet, ex-convict, and underground hip-hop spirit who once sold weed to pay his rent. Both were born out of the chaos of the Bay Area and met within the sacred, graffiti-covered walls of 924 Gilman St.—a punk rock church with plenty of sinners but no pews. Both have extensive criminal records and have made enough bad decisions to fill a Netflix documentary series. Fat Mike, on the other hand, spent a mere 24 hours in Disneyland Jail—not exactly wild, but criminal enough for a punk rock reference. So the chemistry is right.

In 2023, the Codefendants recorded their first album, “This Is Crime Wave.” 2026 is shaping up to be a massive year for the punk rock trio, as not only will their second album, “Lifers,” be released, but the quirky combo will also be touring the world.
