What does a comedy legend experience on tour? What motivates the first woman to head the state parliament? Both genres, politics and culture, have "a stage", but what happens behind the scenes? Our guests are two people who have been involved in the German-Turkish Cabaret Festival from the very beginning: State Parliament President Muhterem Aras, a freedom-loving democrat from a Kurdish-Alevi immigrant family, and Muhsin Omurca, "father of migrant cabaret" and inventor of the word "bio-German", which had a completely different meaning at the time.
