Comic-Crush #1: Comiczeichnen – MARVEL und der Zweite Weltkrieg

Propaganda in comics? In this workshop, you will delve into the depths of the comic world and receive tips and tricks on how to create your own comic story. Captain America embodies the prototype of the patriotic American hero. The character was used by his creators in March 1941 to promote the USA's entry into the Second World War. HSD student William Ahland (*1995) has been drawing since a young age and is fascinated by what is behind and in the comics. He will guide you through the exhibition and give you an insight into how comics became propaganda heroes during times of war and crisis, and in the workshop he will show you how to create characters and tell stories.
