Hands-on activities for the exhibition Cold as Ice. Cold in art and society

In this edition of the Community Art Night, all those interested are invited to try out transfer techniques to get warm: making your own stickers, working with acrylic disks in transfer printing, drawing and collage.

From 5.15 to 5.45 p.m., there will also be an art talk in the exhibition Cold as Ice. Cold in Art and Society there will also be an art talk with Nadezhda Milanova, Migration and Integration Commissioner of the State of Bremen, Nadine Golly, Managing Director of Bewegungsstiftung and Lena Prötzel, Weserburg Museum of Modern Art.

About the Community Art Night:

During the exhibition Cold as Ice. Cold in Art and Society , the project space at the Weserburg invites you to warm up once a month on Thursdays from 5-8:30 pm. By creating and meeting together, a counterpoint to the cold is created here - open to all and beyond attributions, disciplines or languages.

The program is diverse: printing workshop, painting activities, silent reading & sketching event or a community choir. Finally, there will be a clothes swap pop-up and DJ set in March.

There will also be an opportunity to visit the Cold as Ice exhibition between 5 and 6 pm. Individual works will be presented during short guided tours and discussions with people from urban society and the museum.
