Is this pop or is it just noise?—“LimoAllein”doesn’t waste time on small talk: this is the kind of music Walter von der Vogelweide would have loved to hear in the “Sanifair” restroom. The three musicians from Halle have been working together since 2023 on their pop-electronic confession about their own cluelessness. With a synthesizer, guitar, and drum machine, they conjure up a portrait of the postmodern human: melancholy and cosmopolitan overwhelm—it’s music that seeks intimacy but doesn’t dissolve into sentimental warmth.
