Contact-Jam - Freie Contact-Improvisation

Since March 2000 there has been a regular contact improvisation jam at the TiKK. People who are enthusiastic about movement meet here and dance contact improvisation or improvise freely.

Contact improvisation is a form of contemporary dance. "Contact" is dance with a partner in physical contact. "Contact" is a game with balance and equilibrium, dancing with the whole body and with all the senses. "Contact" means experiencing, meeting and expressing yourself in a direct, playful way. Contact improvisation developed in the USA more than forty years ago and has been established in the European dance scene for many years.
Contact jams are open events where people dance and improvise together without instruction. "Contact" guests and people interested in "Contact" are welcome at any time.
