A wild combination: hula hoops and contemporary as a modern dance style. Circular movements with the hula hoop are integrated into typical flowing and spiraling movements of contemporary dance (and vice versa). The result is a special feeling of movement and dance with an unsuspected softness and dynamism.
Vita: Ron Estrea Kaslasy was born in Israel in 1996 and graduated from the dance program at Katzir High School in 2016. In 2015, she expanded her education and participated in the one-year Batsheva Excellence Program Hamama. After her national service, she traveled to Asia for a year and discovered her deep connection to circus arts, yoga and Buddhism. Upon her return to Israel, she developed her skills in pole dance, in which she won second place in the Pole Art competition in 2019. In 2021 she joined Cafe Tav Collective and continuously gained stage experience as an artist. Supported by a scholarship from Keren Tarbut, she completed her studies at the Performact Dance Program in Portugal between 2021 and 2023. During this time, Ron Estrea Kaslasy had the opportunity to work with talented teachers and choreographers who significantly shaped her dance vision. In March 2023, she presented her solo performance Parallelit at a dance event at BOTA in Lisbon and at the Mafra Dance Festival.
Ron Estrea Kaslasy has been part of the dance company at the Volkstheater Rostock since August 2023.
