Where does a rock concert begin and when does it become an opera? How long does the esteemed audience keep its composure and when does the mosh pit break out? At Coppelius, the audience wears tailcoats and walking sticks, lace dresses and fans, and thus becomes part of the performance.

The Coppelius gentlemen themselves play classical instruments in frock coats and top hats - but cellos, clarinets and double basses don't sound like they do in an orchestra. Instead, the listener is treated to a hard-hitting slab of rock.

As a new Coppelius album has just been announced, there will also be new tracks to listen to. Alongside Coppelius' favorite songs and surprises not heard for a long time.

Coppelius are the only band in the 21st century that can still afford a butler. He guides you through the evening, sings, serves the gentlemen on and in front of the stage and sometimes loses his composure himself. When everything is in tatters and in ruins after the concert, musicians and audience alike flow happily into the night.
