Corazón - Quartett

The Corazón - Quartet invites you on a musical journey through Spain and South America: lyrical and virtuoso compositions from the colors of "Flamenco Fusion" with rapid guitar runs and rousing rhythms from Andalusia and Cuba intertwine with improvisations and thus create a special listening experience.

Their shared passion for world music has turned four professional musicians into a quartet with high artistic standards: WDR competition winners Lori Lorenzen and Wolfgang Wallner - both on guitar - as well as Peter Cudek on double bass and Andreas Kutschera - percussion. The four musicians have gathered their experience in numerous ensembles and projects over the course of their lives and are constantly on the road throughout Europe with different line-ups.

On this evening, the quartet will present the music from their new CD "EL PUENTE": a colorful play of southern guitar music full of vitality, energy and joy of playing. Original compositions sit alongside pieces by well-known guitarists such as Paco de Lucía, Gerardo Nuñez and Josemi Carmona - often cheerful and spirited, occasionally calm and dreamy.
