Opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte
In love, engaged, married, divorced - between neo-conservatism and open relationship concepts, every life and love decision seems possible these days. Not so for Mozart's characters as children of their time, whose fidelity is put to the test in an obscure wager: Alfonso tests the relationships of his friends Ferrando and Guglielmo, because he does not believe in the fidelity of their partners Fiordiligi and Dorabella. Ferrando and Guglielmo accept the bet and the emotional rollercoaster ride begins.
The two women can hardly wait to see their fiancées again, but Alfonso throws a spanner in the works. He fakes a military enlistment for the two men, and so the game of morality, temptation, jealousy, passion and loss begins.
