Reading, talk and live music with John Cranko's pianist George Bailey and author Susanne Wiedmann

Following the successful premiere in December, George Bailey will be making another guest appearance at the NTM Tanzhaus. For over 40 years, the pianist accompanied the training and rehearsals of the Stuttgart Ballet. In 1972, the legendary choreographer John Cranko brought him into his company, and world-famous choreographers such as John Neumeier and Maurice Béjart only wanted to work with him as a pianist. In her biography, author and NTM dance dramaturge Susanne Wiedmann tells Bailey's dazzling life story, describing his everyday life behind the scenes of the theater - and his penchant for exquisite fashion. Together they will organize an evening of readings, talks and live music. George Bailey will play from his rich repertoire on the grand piano.
