In mid-May, we will be showing another classic horror film and at the same time fulfilling a great wish for Michelle, who is doing our moderation in Munich. We're showing the first movie with Chucky the Murder Doll. So don't miss it. We're sure Michelle will have a lot to say about the movie on May 16.

When Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent) receives a doll as a present for his sixth birthday, neither he nor his mother Karen (Catherine Hicks) have any idea of the consequences. Because the toy is not a normal object, but of all things the doll into which the spirit of the serial killer Charles Lee Ray (Brad Dourif), who was apparently killed during his escape, has driven. Chucky, as the doll is called, hasn't had enough of murdering either and takes up a new challenge in the Barclays' hitherto well-protected home. The first victim is Andy's babysitter, who falls out of the window and dies. As Chucky continues to kill happily afterwards and Andy is always nearby, suspicion falls on the little boy. Of course, nobody believes his statements that the doll committed the murders until Andy's mother finds out that Chucky worked without batteries. Together with policeman Mike Norris, she now tries to put a stop to Chucky.

Naturally, no one believes his claims that the doll committed the murders, until Andy's mother discovers that Chucky worked without batteries. Now, together with police officer Mike Norris, she tries to stop Chucky.
