CSD Demo ruhrPRIDE Essen

The demonstration is at the heart of every CSD event. Together with you, we want to demonstrate loudly in support of queer rights, draw attention to unequal treatment, and present our demands to policymakers. We take a clear stand for equality and acceptance and against discrimination, hatred, and social exclusion.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the demonstration.

The route is expected to be similar to last year’s. It has been intentionally shortened slightly so that as many people as possible—regardless of their physical abilities—can participate in the demonstration. Experience from previous years has shown that this route is more accessible.

We invite everyone—as well as companies, clubs, political parties, and organizations—to join our march and show their solidarity.
