In the organizer's words:

This Polish quartet is a group of artists whose hearts beat to the beat of Eastern rhythms.

They draw their inspiration from Balkan sounds and Far Eastern influences, with a particular focus on Roma music. Their involvement with Roma culture has inspired them to reinterpret the original melodies of the nations that have influenced Roma over the past centuries.

On this evening, you will experience an acoustic line-up whose songs differ in language and rhythm - depending on the origin of the melody - without losing Czarnina's rousing signature.

Accompany Czarnina on this musical journey to the places where Roma have brought their culture and left traces of their precious musical treasure - guided by lively improvisations, soulful melodies and a truthfulness that envelops the audience.

This event takes place in cooperation with the Documentation and Cultural Center of German Sinti and Roma.
