Dacheröden in Concert: Duo Hausmann & Neumann

Antonia Hausmann (trombone) and Werner Neumann (guitar) combine tonal depth with lively improvisation. Their jazz duo thrives on the exciting combination of two instruments that rarely perform together - and yet blend harmoniously.

Antonia Hausmann lives and works in Leipzig and is at home in many different genres. She is known for her ability to bring emotional depth to her interpretations. Her versatility allows her to shine in big bands as well as in smaller ensembles and to use her skills in different musical styles. She serves the pop and indie genres as a band member of Clueso, Dota Kehr, Karl die Große and Kat Frankie, among others. At Kultur: Haus Dacheröden she performs as a duo with Werner Neumann.

Werner Neumann, professor of jazz guitar, impresses with his virtuoso playing and his fine sensitivity for sound and structure. He masters a wide range of musical styles and brings this expertise to the duo. His arrangements and improvisations lend the music a special dynamic and flexibility. The audience can look forward to an entertaining evening with musical dialog and anecdotes from the musician's life.
