There is no picture of Darko Radosavljev with his parents - until one suddenly appears. Starting from this blank space, a choreographic exploration of memory, projection and the question of how family images are created unfolds. Between contemporary dance and pop culture references, the body moves through different roles, attributions and ideas of how one is seen and how one creates oneself. Memories do not appear as a fixed narrative, but as something that changes through movement, repetition and embodiment.
Instead of trying to replace the missing image, new family images are constantly created in the course of the performance: fleeting, performed, contradictory. Clothing, music and gestures become carriers of memory and transformation. Radosavljev uses autobiographical material to develop a multi-layered choreographic work about loss, identity and the possibility of constantly seeing oneself and others anew.
