FILMFEST HAMBURG is celebrating Free Admission Day and giving the people of Hamburg a great gift on October 3: all films from this year's program that are showing in the five FILMFEST HAMBURG cinemas on that day can be seen for free. The nine FILMFEST UMS ECK cinemas will also be participating in the offer with one free screening each on October 3. Films that celebrate the big screen and the cinema will also be shown on this day. Films that take the audience into other worlds, that touch, amuse and enchant.

The FILMFEST HAMBURG program runs in the cinemas Abaton, CinemaxX Dammtor, Metropolis, Passage and Studio-Kino. As well as one free FILMFEST HAMBURG screening in each of the cinemas Koralle Lichtspielhaus, Magazin Filmkunsttheater, Hansa Filmstudio Bergedorf, Blankeneser Kino, Zeise Kinos, Alabama, 3001, Savoy Filmtheater and Astor Film Lounge.

🎟️ Tickets for October 3 are essential and will be available online from the start of advance sales on September 12. During the festival period, free tickets will also be issued at the Box Offices of the respective festival cinemas.

With this campaign, which is financed by the Ministry of Culture and Media, FILMFEST HAMBURG wants to anchor itself more firmly in the city's society. The aim is to address people who are not (yet) familiar with the festival, who have rarely or never been to the cinema and whose participation in cultural life is difficult for various reasons. Ticket contingents will be made available for them.
