The Juggler's Tale - A magical play by Michael Ende

From January 29 to February 22, the Düsseldorfer Marionetten-Theater is presenting Michael Ende's "The Juggler's Tale", a poetic, touching and rarely performed play.

The story: Jojo and his friends' small circus is on the brink of ruin. But should the jugglers advertise for a chemical factory?

In order to influence the others, Jojo tells a fairy tale: About Princess Eli's search for her beloved Prince Joan, about the cunning of the magic mirror Kalophain and the seductive powers of the spider Angramain...

"The Juggler's Tale" invites the audience to set off from the present day into the fairytale land of tomorrow, only to return to reality inwardly purified.

The fairy-tale production, rich in imagery, about the little juggler troupe of Jojo and his friends, the magic mirror Kalophain and the cunning of the spider Angramain is suitable for adults and children aged 10 and over.
