Every quarter, we transform the Holy Craft Beer Bar in Düsseldorf into a lively meeting place for music lovers, quiz fans and anyone who wants to enjoy a cozy and sociable evening with like-minded people full of music, good drinks and lots of games, fun and good humor.

The tournament mode - sociable, exciting & varied

Our tournament offers space for up to 24 teams of two players each. A total of 7 duel rounds per team are played in the Swiss system. Two teams always compete against each other in each duel round. A duel round consists of 12 songs from different genres and decades. The task of both teams is to guess the artist/title of each song on the one hand and the year of release on the other. Both teams can decide for themselves what risk they want to take:

For 3 points

1. Artist and song title

2. Year of release

For 2 points

1. Artist or song title

2. Decade

For 1 point

1. Group or solo artist:in

2. Century

Example: The song is played. Team A chooses group/solo artist:in for one point and decade fortwo points. Both answers are correct (= 3 points). Team B chooses artist and song title for 3 points and the exact year of release for 3 points. The artist and song title are correct, the year of release is incorrect. Team B therefore also scores 3 points.

A total of 72 points (6 points per song) can therefore be scored per duel round. The team that has collected more points at the end of a duel round wins the music duel. The three teams that have won the most music duels at the end of the evening can not only look forward to fame and honor, but also take home a trophy.

Good to know: In contrast to classic pub evenings, you don't have a fixed seat - you change tables after each duel. This means you automatically get to talk to other music fans and easily meet new people. After all, the big music duel is not just about winning, but above all about fun, games and good humor!
