Our quiz tournament can accommodate up to 24 teams of two players each. The tournament consists of 7 duel rounds using the Swiss system. That means: In each round, you’ll face off against a team that has the same number of points as you and that you haven’t played against yet.

Each duel round consists of 15 questions that you’ll answer on your smartphone. From general knowledge about the movies, books, and characters to spells, Quidditch, and other niche categories, you’ll get to put your knowledge across a wide range of topics to the test.

What makes our Quiz Duel concept special? Unlike traditional pub quizzes, you don’t have a fixed seat—after each duel, you switch tables. This lets you strike up conversations with other quiz and Harry Potter fans in a relaxed and casual way and get to know new people effortlessly. After all, the big Quiz Duel isn’t just about winning—it’s all about fun, games, and good times.

The three teams standing on the winners’ podium at the end of the evening will not only be honored in our Hall of Fame but also take home a trophy. And don’t worry: even the team in last place won’t go home empty-handed. A small, humorous consolation prize—the “Golden Pile”—awaits you.
