On March 4, Ulrich Roski would have turned 80 - Hertzflimmern is dedicating a special evening to the singer-songwriter, who was one of the absolute stars of the scene in the 70s and 80s and died far too early in 2003.
In his songs, Ulrich Roski described the pitfalls of everyday life with a mixture of laconic humor and wordplay, making it to the top of the German charts and into elite concert halls such as the Berlin Philharmonie. But because direct contact with the audience was more important to him than anything else, he eventually returned to the cabaret stages of the republic.
In loving memory, his former companions Stefan Noelle and Manfred Maurenbrecher will perform an evening of songs and memories, together with Sandra Roski, who has been paying tribute to her father for many years with tribute evenings in Berlin.
