An interactive karaoke talk with Düsseldorf women*

Don't be afraid of off-key tunes! In this joint series of events, kom!ma e.V. and the TMD present Düsseldorf women six times a year who are committed to women's issues in the city in a wide variety of ways. In a wild mixture of talk and a joint karaoke evening, the guests are given the opportunity to introduce themselves and their lives and work. Together with the audience, songs are sung in between that have accompanied the talk guests throughout their lives.

In January, we are looking forward to Leonie Plaar, also known as Frau Löwenherz. The author was born in Osnabrück in 1992 and studied English, History and American Studies, supplemented by a certificate in Gender Studies. Under the name Frau Löwenherz, she educates people online about historical topics, queerness and feminism; her authentic and courageous voice has earned her a wide reach. Leonie not only works as an activist, but is also a freelance journalist and advises editorial offices, companies and museums.
