On Saturday, 04.07.26, at 19:00, Das rollende Sofa will make a stop at the Bauspielplatz Essener Straße. Leon Schöne and Leonore Lilja are two friends who will create an evening between tradition and the present, lightness and attitude. Irish and Scottish songs, stories and powerful lyrics create a program for dreaming, swaying and reflecting.
Multi-instrumentalist Leon Schöne plays the fiddle and flute in a dreamy and powerful way, his moving voice carrying the musical stories far beyond the stage. Leonore Lilja brings provocative, thoughtful songs and attitude, in which pop meets classical music, singer-songwriter meets cabaret. Together, mutual accompaniment, solo pieces and a variety of instruments create an evening that turns tradition into something new.
