dat brasst: Brass, Bags and Balls

After a successful start last season, the Bremen Philharmonic Orchestra and the brass quintet BRASSerie led by solo horn player Matthias Berkel invite you to the second edition of the Bremen brass festival "dat brasst" in 2024.

The opening concert is all about the most beautiful minor matter in the world: soccer! Shortly before the opening match of the European Championship 2024 between Germany and Scotland, the brass quintet BRASSerie will present hits from the stadiums, famous soccer songs and Scottish gems. Special guest is the pipe band Crest of Gordon, who will reinforce the BRASSerie brass players with drums and bagpipes. After the concert, those who wish can watch the live stream of the opening game, including live national anthems and a half-time show in the Bremen Philharmonic Hall.
