An endangered species meets regularly in the Brodelpott - the so-called Plattsnackers! Native speakers of Low German are now few and far between, but you can still meet them at the Klöönwark - both native speakers and people who simply enjoy speaking Low German.
In this group, it doesn't matter whether you've already completed three adult education courses, are a "lütte Deern" or a youngster with grandma Erna 'af un an mal snackt hett' or don't speak any Platt at all. The only thing that counts is curiosity and a desire to learn Low German! Just don't be afraid! Take a look, we look forward to seeing you!
