"WOMEN IN DESIGN - rebellion and self-empowerment"

On November 28, 2024, the DDC Salon NRW (German Design Club) invites you to the NRW-Forum Düsseldorf. With the theme "Women in Design - Rebellion and Self-Empowerment" , the event offers an inspiring evening for exciting discussions, exchange and networking.

Prof. Dr. Gerda Breuer, one of the most prominent experts in design history, will kick off the event with a historical lecture on the struggles and successes of female designers who have fought for equal rights and participation in design.

Exciting contributions from female designers such as Daniela Burger (Missy Magazine), Maria Wintz (Ladies Wine & Design), Pauline Gebauer (3D design) and Tayo Osobu (product design) will bridge the gap between past and present and shed light on the question of the social relevance of design from a female perspective.

The event will be preceded by a guided tour of the current exhibition "Superheroes". Registration is requested.
