DEAD CAT WALKING

After three years of temporary use, hundreds of events, festivals, exhibitions, and a diverse community of artists, the project will come to an end on September 30, 2026.

We’d like to say thank you and celebrate a fitting farewell with the city, our tenants, and all of you.

On September 12, 26, starting at 4 p.m., we’re hosting an open-air event in our courtyard, and afterward, you can dance until morning at the after-show party in the foyers or at the rave in the Black Box.

Food and drinks will, of course, be provided, and there will be free admission as always.

The Fat Cat:

For over three years, Fat Cat gGmbH operated as a temporary use project in the old Gasteig building. The 200 rented spaces were used by approximately 1,000 cultural professionals. Artists and organizations from all disciplines found a workspace here, as well as an opportunity to network with one another and launch new projects.
