With *Déjà Nu*, Adam Chakir creates a poetic space between memory and the present, between closeness and alienation.
Three dancers move through landscapes of recognition: gestures return, touches repeat themselves, encounters seem familiar and yet change with every passing moment.

Like a favorite song you’ve heard too many times. Like a face you see every day and suddenly view anew. In a subtle interplay of repetition and change, Déjà Nu explores the traces that life leaves behind in our bodies.
What happens to wonder when habit sets in? When does familiarity turn into distance? And how do we find our way back to a vibrant perception of the world?
