Renata escapes into her imagination and has sought refuge with a fiery angel since childhood. She tries to free herself from her traumatic memories, but her dark past keeps catching up with her. In adulthood, she now searches for a way out and meets Ruprecht, with whom she hopes to find support. But how can you move on when you have experienced terrible things? All her human relationships are inextricably linked to her past. Ruprecht also falls for this woman, who often seems strange and incomprehensible from the outside. His projections onto her drag him down and lead to his personal descent. In this relationship, the two can neither be with nor without each other. Together they live through the abysses of the human psyche, pushing themselves to their physical and mental limits, always watched by a society that makes itself an accomplice through its concealment, its loud silence and unsustainable rumors.
