The Japanese artist Saeko Killy, who has been living in Berlin for several years, has gradually played her way out of the creative microcosm of the Neukölln Sameheads environment and into the ears, minds and hearts of a knowledgeable audience. This was rewarded in 2023 with a release on the Hamburg quality label Bureau B. Mysterious vocal lines, wafting bass, minimal synthesizers and clattering beats somewhere between post-punk, kraut and dub are her acoustic recipe for success, which she is sharing with us today with a live set.
The perfect DJ counterpart will be yuri, an electronic music activist from the smoke-filled sound labs of the Fechenheim industrial area.
