Karl Valentin medal for Christoph Maria Herbst
The Munich carnival society Narrhalla traditionally celebrates its big Soirée Münchner Leben in our ballroom. Once again, one of the highlights is the presentation of the Karl Valentin Order. In 2026, it will go to actor, voice actor and author Christoph Maria Herbst, who has won the German Comedy Award several times and the Bavarian Film Award in 2025. The laudatory speech will be held by author and Grimme Award winner Moritz Netenjakob, with whom Herbst always goes on tour for a few weeks a year and delights audiences with "Das ernsthafte Bemühen um Albernheit".
At the Narrhalla's big gala ball, guests can once again look forward to a colorful program with many guests, a dance show by the Prinzengarde and a performance by the flag regiment. And, of course, the traditional waltz by the official prince and princess of the Narrhalla and the state capital, Stephan I & Samantha I, is also a must.
Culinary delights
Our gastronomic partner Lorenz Stiftl and his team will cater for the ball guests. You can choose between a menu or à la carte dishes. It is best to use the convenient option of pre-ordering via the online store so that you can be sure to enjoy your favorite dish.
