Sebastian Fitzek is Germany's best-selling author, he writes psychological thrillers that have all become bestsellers. This includes "Der Heimweg", which reached first place in the Spiegel bestseller list. Based on this novel, Julia Ostrowski and Josef Ulbig have developed a live radio play version authorized by the author.

Performed by actors, speakers and a foley artist, the evening at the Prinzregententheater brings the plot of the book to life in a very special way: It is Saturday, shortly after 10 pm. Jules Tannberg is on the attendant's phone. This is a voluntary telephone service for women who get scared on their way home late at night and wish for telephone support. There has never been a truly life-threatening situation. Until today, when Jules speaks to Klara. The young woman is terrified. She believes she is being followed by a man who has already attacked her once and who has painted a date in blood on her bedroom wall: The day of Klara's death! And that day is less than two hours away ...
