Generative AI, deepfakes, voice cloning, algorithmic remixes, and digital effects such as de-aging are increasingly blurring the lines between real and synthetic content. In art, pop culture, and the media, works are emerging that audiences can hardly distinguish as being artificially or humanly created. The discussion therefore centers on the question of how we will deal with artificiality, identity, and cultural value in the future—and what value truth holds in a society where reality increasingly appears to be constructible.

Participants in the discussion include Nina Graf (aka Miu), musician and songwriter, and Prof. Peter Moormann, professor of music in the media and music journalism at TU Dortmund University.
