Der Kongress der Pflanzen - Ein fiktives choreobotanisches Szenario

In the organizer's words:

A dance piece by the YET Company

We admire the bouquet of flowers on the table and enjoy the shade of the trees in summer. But if a tree grows in the wrong place, it is cut down. Most of the time we treat plants as objects, causing unreserved destruction. But what if we took plants seriously as independent and sensitive beings? If we could listen to them for once, what impact would that have on the relationship between humans and nature? In its dance production, the YET Company invites various botanical representatives to the Congress of Plants on stage. Three dancers translate their 'voices' into moving and touching scenes, supported by music and video. The Congress of Plants encourages us to broaden our own perception and to ask about alternative forms of botanical-human coexistence.
