There is a Nino from Vienna quote for every situation in life. A verse for every feeling, the right images and vibes for every story. Sometimes as an encouragement like "waun irgendwos nix wird, kauns aundas wohin fian", sometimes as wisdom "Es gibt Menschen, es gibt Freunde aber meistens sind es Leute". All these gems seem to spring ceaselessly from Nino's head.

The mood of the past two years can now be found in a new work: Eis Zeit is the name of the 12th studio album. Recorded with the full line-up of Nino Mandl, Raphael Sas, pauT and David Wukitsevits. The recordings are so live and close that it's as if the band themselves were the inhabitants of the record, playing their songs anew each time at the touch of a button.

Nino writes about the creation of the songs:
Mostly written in Vienna-Simmering, but also in Vienna-Favoriten. Often during the day but also at night. Some were written quickly ("Zeit"), others took months ("Ohne Schlaf"). Some were inspired by two different socks ("Palms and Cats"), others by terrible events ("Monday"). Some were also written on cemetery walks ("Olles hot sei End"), others from friendly encouragement ("Strawberry Dream").
The album was recorded quickly, in the Cselley Mühle, all live. Sung live, played live. As if it had been a Corona concert without an audience. Thomas Pronai captured everything with his tape machine. It is the first and probably only and last Nino from Vienna album on which every song stays under 4 minutes.

Nino Aus Wien, Austrian singer-songwriter and writer, has left his mark on the German-speaking music scene with his very own form of "Wienerlied" and his "Hirschstettner Soul". He has been dubbed "the best young singer-songwriter in the country" and the "Bob Dylan of the Praterstern" by the Falter newspaper. Nino plays around 100 concerts a year, all over the German-speaking world, from the Vienna Konzerthaus to the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. He has already been nominated more than seven times for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award and won the award in the "Alternative Pop / Rock" category in 2016. He has achieved numerous chart positions, several number one hits in the FM4 charts, also writes music for the theater and co-curated the Vienna Popfest in 2018.
Collaborations, friendships and joint performances have taken place with Ernst Molden, Voodoo Jürgens, Wanda, Soap & Skin, Natalie Ofenböck, Dirk Stermann, Steffi Werger and this year even with Ildikó Raimondi. He regularly proves his entertainment skills in interviews with André Heller, a Vienna excursion with Gerda Rogers, or TV appearances such as Willkommen Österreich or the legendary Brieflos show.
