Aeham Ahmad is a Palestinian-Syrian pianist. He has been learning to play the piano since the age of five, initially at the conservatory in Damascus, and from 2006 to 2011 he studied at the music faculty of Baath University in Homs. He gained international fame in 2014/15 through performances in the Yarmouk refugee camp as a "pianist in the rubble" during the civil war in Syria. After the refugee camp was taken over by Islamic State fighters in April 2015, they destroyed his piano during an inspection. In this situation, he decided to leave his home country and came to Germany. In 2015, he received the inaugural "International Beethoven Prize for Human Rights, Peace, Freedom, Poverty Alleviation and Inclusion".

Katerina Giannakopoulou is a multiple international award-winning stage dancer, actress and filmmaker of Greek origin. At the age of six, she met her first teacher, Pina Bausch, who accompanied her on her path to the stage. She toured internationally as a flamenco dancer.

Franco Carmine has been a flamenco guitarist for over 30 years and is one of the most outstanding dance accompanists for flamenco in Germany. He and Katerina have been working together on and off for 20 years. He regularly tours with various flamenco formations at home and abroad and is a welcome guest at renowned flamenco festivals such as the one at Tanzhaus Düsseldorf. Among other things, he accompanies the flamenco classes at ARTS FOR SOCIAL CHANGE! - School for Flamenco and Performing Arts at the Tanzfaktur Köln.
