The groundsman: The 96 season review 2024/25
No 96 season comes to an end without the groundsman putting the lid on it. For more than 20 years, columnists Uwe Janssen and Bruno Brauer have been following the Reds' fortunes in the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung on a weekly basis, taking stock live at the end of the season. This season is no exception, still with coach Stefan Leitl, but finally with a Halstenberg and a lease until 2096 for a property for which there is only one name. The groundsman shaves the team with a fine blade, looks back on derby heroes and calibrated lines on a Voglsammer. And in between, the groundsman sings.
