"Der Stadtpark im Klimawandel" – Spaziergang von GRÜNE HH-Nord mit BUND Hamburg

In the organizer's words:

The AG GRÜNE 60Plus Hamburg-Nord and BUND Hamburg are organizing a tour of the Stadtpark on 12.5.2026; meeting point is the Forsthaus Stadtpark at 5 pm.

The more than 100-year-old Stadtpark is one of Hamburg's great "green lungs". A treasure that must be protected! But climate change is not leaving it unscathed. Trees are suffering from drought, animals are under pressure and invasive species are threatening the native vegetation, etc.

At the same time, awareness of the importance of insect-friendly plants has increased, because without "pollinators" everything would be nothing. Our tour is therefore not only intended to draw attention to endangered trees, reasons for the abundance of deadwood and other valuable structures, but also to explain which shrubs, trees and plants are gaining in importance today and which are increasingly viewed critically.

The guided tour will be led by Ms. Luca Heinle, BUND Hamburg's conservation officer.
An event organized by the Hamburg-Nord Green Party and AG 60plus. If you have any questions, please contact the spokespersons Dörte Feiß at doerte.feiss@gruene-nord.de and Michael Bideller at michael.bideller@gruene-nord.de.

All interested parties are welcome. Participation is free of charge
