Around 20 years ago, Andrea Andy Sachs and Emily Charlton suffered under the merciless nature of fashion magazine boss Miranda Priestley as her assistants. While Miranda still dominated back then with big budgets and classic print gloss, Andy and Emily have since built their own careers. Emily is now so successful as the manager of a luxury brand that even advertising campaigns with dizzying sums of money are a matter of course for her. Andy has also moved on and found her place in the world of media and fashion.
