Glenealy is a small village in Ireland. Sandra grew up here and emigrated to London after college in Dublin. That's where she met Ray. Now she is spending the weekend with him in her parents' house to sell it. After the death of her parents, Sandra no longer has much in common with her old home. Or so she thinks. Because after a reunion with her childhood friend Dairne, estate agent Linda and her husband Larry turn up as arranged to view the house. And from one second to the next, nothing in Sandra's life is the same as before. She met Larry 20 years ago. Deirdre Kinahan tells a sensitive and unembellished story about how sexual violence is never emotionally time-barred.
